The Society has developed the "First Link" logic model which provides clients with coordinated support, learning
and linkages to community services from the point of diagnosis by a medical doctor through to the continuum of the disease.
The coordinated approach between Family Physicians and the Society was sponsored by Janssen-Ortho a drug company in order
for this program to become a regional reality.
